Franschoek Residential Green House
This working boutique Green House surrounded by the Oliphants Hoek mountains is situated in an olive grove adjacent to the main residence.
Larry custom designed the structure which is made of steel and glass and set on a base of concrete, clad with packed stone. The aesthetic reflects the design vision of the customer as a space to lovingly tend to her plants. The steel framed glass panels reflect the beauty of the surrounding mountains and olive groves.
The large scale hinged Steel double doors both open allowing extra ventilation when tending to her plants on those extremely hot Franschoek days. The size and scale of the steel framed glass panels allow for beautiful views both from the interior out and the exterior in to the Green House structure.
