House Biess
A typical Vredehoek family home fully renovated to reflect contemporary aesthetics. What was previously a dark and cluttered interior was opened up and transformed into a modern light, well ventilated and welcoming living space.
A large proportion of the success of the renovation is due to the choice and design of the new Aluminium windows and doors.
The windows were specifically configured and located to frame and maximize beautiful available views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and the City Bowl. Opening sections were carefully planned to reduce sight lines and offer ventilation even in windy conditions. The central focus is the large sliding and folding door which creates a perfect interior/ exterior flow. An intense collaboration between owner, ourselves and the architect culminated in a truly magnificent result.
