Table Mountain Heritage

Metal Windows have completed two major projects on Table Mountain. The first is the Shop At The Top. A Retail space in a Heritage building  on the mountain.

The original wood windows were completely rotten. Replacement windows had to confirm to National Heritage Council Specifications. Larry custom designed aluminium replica windows (that look the same as the original wood ones), which are low maintenance and easy to operate, in keeping with the NSC specs.

Our staff travelled up the mountain  with all products and materials before 6 am, via the Cable Car, to ensure minimum disturbance to visitors.

The second completed project is the WiFi lounge. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to the Cableway or a regular, the Wi-Fi Lounge offers all visitors to the summit a chance to recharge and refuel. Enjoy the  views from the balcony, and grab a delicious snack and beverage while you unwind in this weather

adapting space. Metal Windows  custom designed heavy duty doors for the newly renovated WiFi lounge which are easy to operate, with sleek lines, yet robust enough to withstand thousands of visitors passing through daily. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway experience is a memorable one and ans highly recommended.

We look forward to taking part in the next phase of the Table Mountain facilities renovation. These two project are certainly the highest job sites we’ve installed our windows in yet!
