Anatoli’s Turkish Restaurant

The original Victorian coach house which houses Anatoli’s restaurant was built in 1904 in the De Waterkant area now known as the Cape Quarter. In 1984 the coach house was converted into a beautiful restaurant and Anatoli’s opened its doors as the first and only Cape Town eatery to serve authentic Turkish cuisine.

In 2012 Metal Windows achieved the design and manufacture of the massive steel arched form which spans the courtyard of this restaurant by custom fitting a structural steel frame into the masonry arch structure. The powder coated aluminium windows, flashings and frame cladding, afterwards inserted into the steel frame, completed the project to our customary aesthetic, quality and safety standards. A striking feature of this magnificent venue.

Chef and owner Tayfun combines classic Turkish fare in a modern, ingredient-focused menu with upscale comfort food and impeccable hospitality. His rich experience shows through gorgeous, flavourful and unpretentious food with a focus on freshly sourced local and Turkish ingredients.
